Sadhu Vaswani Center, Chicago was officially registered with the State of Illinois as a non-profit organization in January 1994.  The Center received Dada's blessings and was formally inaugurated by Dada in June 1996 and has been operating under the auspices of the Sadhu Vaswani Mission, Pune.

The Center conducts Sadhu Vaswani Satsangs on the third Sunday of every month at 4:00 P.M. in the standard format recommended by the Mission in Pune.  It lasts approximately two hours and includes a showing of Dada's video taped discourse, bhajans and langar.  In addition, we celebrate Sadhu Vaswani's birthday on the 25th of November, Dada J.P. Vaswani's on August 2nd and Mahayagna on January 16th.  Pledges are taken for 'Meatless Day' and contributions are collected and forwarded to Pune, for cataract surgeries at the Eye Institute in Pune

Seva programme is performed by feeding the poor vegetarian soup and sandwiches once a month. On February 18th,  Thanksgiving Day , canned food items and other staples are collected to donate to shelters for the homeless and the poor.  Such donations of food items are also made from time to time throughout the year. A major charity drive for winter clothes and blankets is conducted during October and November prior to Sadhu T. L. Vaswani birthday.

Health Fairs are conducted several times during the year offering free vaccinations, diagnostic services and doctor consultations.
